Overview
The Department of Human Resources and Administration is responsible for Human Resources Management and Development as well as providing an efficient and effective overall administrative support service to all Sections of the Ministry. The Department is headed by the Director Human Resources and Administration. It comprises of four(4) Units namely:
(i) Administration, Human resources and Management;
(ii) Human Resources Development;
(iii) Registry; and
(iv) Transport Management.
Functions
The Department is responsible for the following functions:
(i) Staff Welfare;
(ii) Staff Appointments, Promotions, Retirements, Transfers and Disciplines;
(iii) Office management and maintenance services;
(iv) Transport Management;
(v) Employee training;
(vi) Records Management; and
(vii) Secretarial Services.
